About Us
We are a small team of language learning enthusiasts. We believe that the learning of Asian languages can be strongly supported by modern language learning software that incorporates modern scientific research on learning techniques.
Asian languages with their unfamiliar sounds and characters seem especially challenging for the learner. However, the right approach makes them easy to learn because the underlying grammar is usually very simple. Our supportive multimedia framework helps you grasp the sounds and characters so you can get on with the business of learning the language.
We founded L-Ceps Language Learning because of our own experience of learning Asian languages. We found that there was a lack of comprehensive language learning software that offered both a tailored experience, and also support for offline learning, e.g. printing of flashcards.
We chose the name "L-Ceps" as this embodies the philosophy of our product. "L" stands for "Learning" and "Ceps" is a basic Latin word element that means "head, leader and first"
